In March, we will once again be competing in the nationwide March Madness Pillowcase Challenge, sponsored by American Patchwork & Quilting. M&R Sewing Team PillowTalk has registered to take part in this fun competition and we hope you will join with us. Last year our team ranked number 1 and made 1690 pillowcase that were donated to St. Mary's Hospital. This year we look forward to working just as hard and making even more pillowcases during March.

In 2019 we will again be carrying the challenge one step further, but changing things up a bit.  This year the more you participate for charity the more chances you will have to win prizes during our weekly drawings and our Grand Prize Drawing.

HOW TO RECEIVE ENTRIES FOR OUR IN STORE DRAWINGS:

• Donate Fabric: Each full yard piece of new cotton fabric gives you one (1) entry in our Weekly & Grand Prize Drawings.

• Donate a Finished Pillowcase: Each finished pillowcase donated gives you one (1) entry in our Weekly & Grand Prize Drawings.

• Attend Pillowcase Making Days: Each pillowcase making day that you attend gives you twenty (20) entries in our Weekly & Grand Prize Drawings.

WEEKLY AND GRAND PRIZE DRAWINGS:     

  • WEEKLY DRAWINGS ARE HELD DURING THE MARCH PILLOWCASE MADNESS EVENT. Each week one (1) entry will be drawn for a $50 M&R Sewing and Vacuum Gift Card.
  • A GRAND PRIZE DRAWING WILL BE HELD AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MARCH PILLOWCASE MADNESS EVENT.  All entries collected will be included in our final Grand Prize drawing, so even if you won a weekly prize, your entry will be included in the final drawing.  The Grand Prize will be a $300 M&R Sewing Gift Card. 
  • All Gift Cards are awarded by M&R Sewing and Vacuum. The Gift Cards can be used on any merchandise in the store, including machines, software, vacuums, notions, etc.

The Team that receives the most votes each week, receives "bonus points" in the National March Pillowcase Madness Challenge.
