Break the Rules

Are you ready to break some rules? We are going to learn and use some fun techniques and not worry abou the rules. We will drop our feed dogs and do some raw edge applique with a little thread painting. We will quilt lines and not worry if they are straight! And, we will create a bag closure using measuring tape.

This class is for any sewing machine and is focused on creative sewing skills!

Any sewing machine in good working order.

What You'll Need

• Extension table or accessory tray

• Walking Foot or Digital Dual Feed Foot

• Edge Stitch Foot

• Free Motion or Darning Foot

• Stitch-in-the-Ditch Foot (or DDF Sole plate)

• 1/4" Foot (or DDF Sole plate)

• Extra sewing machine needles

• Sewing thread (various colors)

• Rotary Cutter or good Shears

• Stick pins and sewing clips

• Erasable fabric maker

• Rotary Cutter

• Small, sharp scissors for detailed cutting

• Stick pins and fabric clips (Wonder Clips)

• Quilting Gloves
