Bernina C18 Gathering Foot

With the gathering foot and the differential feed, one layer of the fabric is ruffled and immediately sewn to a fabric that remains flat. The fabric to be gathered is positioned underneath the gathering attachment, whilst the fabric that remains flat passes over it.
