Schmetz ELx705 serger needles feature a reinforced blade and are designed for use in electronic multi-purpose sergers that do overlock, cover, safety, and mock safety stitches. These needles have a longer groove on both the front and back as well as a slightly larger scarf and a slightly rounded point. Consult your manual for the proper needle selection for your brand and model number. Do not use this needle in home sewing machines.
