Schmetz 130/705 H-M Microtex/Sharp Needles features a slim acute point that makes this needle excellent for piercing fine or densely woven fabrics, microfiber materials, and synthetic leather. It was designed for modern microfibers/polyesters and high thread count/ high-quality fabrics that are commonly used today. The point is quite sharp – hence the name – but because of this, it is a little more fragile and needs to be changed more regularly, but it produces a lovely straight stitch.
