Schmetz Chrome, Professional Grade needles, are designed for sewists, quilters, and embroidery enthusiasts who are sewing faster and more intensely than ever! These chrome-plated needles are beneficial in resisting heat and wear by staying cooler longer, avoiding stitch distortion, and ultimately producing less friction and resistance. Schmetz 130 N CF Chrome Topstitch Needles feature a very long eye (2mm in all sizes) that makes this needle excellent for various decorative sewing and embroidery when using heavy or multiple threads. This needle helps stitch flawlessly straight lines and even stitches. Using a straight stitch plate is beneficial if you expect perfectly straight topstitching results. These needles can be used in household sewing machine brands where needles with a flat shank are required.

Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size.
