CLASS: Serger Basics & Beyond, #10

CLASS 7: Saturday May 30 from 10am to 1pm (Christmas Stocking)

In this project, there are 2 variations of Christmas Stockings. One variation will have you working with the rolled hem while making fabric strips of elegant silk dupioni.  The rolled edges are stitched using variegated thread that will give your stocking a bright and unique look. The strips are then woven into a "fabric" that will be used to construct your stocking.  The second variation will having you taking strips of silk dupioni and edge them with a rolled hem using a decorative cord. The strips are then interwoven with satin ribbon to again form a piece of "fabric" from which you stocking is cut.
