Schmetz Chrome, Professional Grade needles, are designed for sewists, quilters, and embroidery enthusiasts who are sewing faster and more intensely than ever! Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. The Schmetz Chrome Jersey/Ballpoint Needles have an orange top band. Schmetz 130/705 H SUK CF Chrome Jersey/Ballpoint Needles is a pack of five needles in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case.

Press any pieced or embroidered block with ease. The density of this high-quality 100% felted wool mat localizes heat to the seams and stitches, effectively pressing both sides at once. An added bonus? The texture of the wool stops fabrics from shifting so there is no distortion when pressing.

Tips and Tricks For best results, use a dry iron when pressing. When pressing an embroidered block, iron on the wrong side. The wool mat will cushion the stitches and retain the texture of the embroidery design.

If the mat feels damp after use, hang to air-dry before storing. Wash the mat occasionally by rinsing it in cold water and hang the mat until dry. If you choose to use starch, wait to press the fabric until it is completely dry. Starch build-up can scorch the mat if not cleaned properly.

Recommended surfaces for the wool mat include Formica, Corian, stone, and metal (an ironing board). Please use a protective barrier like the No-Stick Applique Sheet between wood or painted surfaces and the Wool Mat. Never place the mat on a rotary cutting mat when pressing. The heat could warp the cutting mat.

Now you can use your fabric to make fusible bias tape. Clover's Fusible Bias Tape Maker is as easy to use as regular bias tape makers. This handy little tool is excellent for lattice and meshwork, piping, or making three-dimensional flower applique using bias tape. To use, slip the fusible web (heat adhesive tape) through the upper groove, the fabric through the base, pull through, and fuse with your mini-iron. Clover's Fusible Bias Tape Maker is available in five sizes, and they come in different colors so you won't get them confused.

The Clover Bias Tape Makers simplify creating your own uniform bias tape. These work great for binding, quilting, and more! Insert your fabric strip and pull through the end to make an even, consistent bias tape. You will find a tape strip width scale for regular or thin fabric on the back.  Replacing the Refill Cartridge:

1.  Remove the stopper, keeping the opening upright. 
2.  Screw in the new refill cartridge into the opening of the upper unit, tilting the cartridge slowly to avoid spilling the powdered ink. 

Notes for Use

• Test on a piece of scrap fabric to be sure that the lines and marks can be erased (do not use fabrics that are not washable)
• Keep the Chaco Liner Pen Style as vertical as possible during use
• Ironing or dry cleaning may make the marks permanent
• Fasten the cap firmly to the body when not in use, to prevent spills.

100 wt. 2-ply filament polyester thread. MicroQuilter is an extra-fine polyester thread designed for invisible machine applique, detail quilting, and stitch in the ditch. It is an extremely fine thread that can be sewn with a very small needle, rendering the thread virtually invisible. MicroQuilter is noticeably strong, especially considering its thin diameter and is the preferred thread for micro stippling and miniatures. MicroQuilter can be used on home machines and longarm machines and is available in 30 colors.
